| Light Writing Group Date |
This is my first blog post.
(Surprise party sounds in background) I'm starting this blog to share my success's and failures in dating in the young single adult realm of the LDS religion
(more commonly known to the world as Mormon) and the things which I learn
(like spending $50 on a first date is a horrible idea!) I'd like this to be a place of learning, excitement, hope, comfort, and fun to those who are just getting out there, who are struggling, or seeking to find dates and be more confident with woman. I don't know how this will all come together but lets see how it goes.
I like dating. I've dated a lot, though probably not the most experienced. I've come along way and that's saying a lot. I want to share my ideas, lessons, stories, dating tips
(Do's and Don'ts), advice, and techniques with the gospel in mind and have fun doing it.
At times this may be personal although I will always keep it appropriate, for the situation being that if anyone I actually have dated stumbles upon and were to read this and 2. for the reason that some may know who is being spoken about here from time to time. I want to keep my friends and relationships in good standing. So I will to my best capabilities provide good postings that even those who I have and will date in the future would not take offense to as best to my capabilities. I've learned and still learning the value and blessing to end and keep things in away that would allow us to be friends in the future and the eternities to come (and i haven't always done a good job at this). I think I'll probably need to let future dates know in advance I'm doing this, as a courtesy. I wouldn't want someone blogging about their date with me and not know it.

I'll do my best to follow the teachings and standards of the Church though this is not a source of advice, council, or to represent The Church in any way. I'm just a single guy who's a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who's dating and wants to follow and keep the standards given. I will do my best to let my own light reflect the light of the Savior as I am capable of doing being that I am a member, hold the Melchizedek Priesthood and follow Christ of my own free will and action. I will do my best to write only things which magnify the light in people if I ever do so. I'm sure this "mission statement" will change with time. I just felt like setting this up tonight as an idea to connect with others of faith! So Happy Dating!
